Kelly Marsh

I am an award-winning freelance photographer located in the Hudson Valley, that specializes in photojournalism and sports photography.

I discovered my passion for photojournalism while serving as the photo editor for the award winning student-run newspaper Cardinal Points. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2004, I briefly worked in film, radio and television before returning to world of journalism and began shooting for the Times Herald-Record in 2011. Since then I've covered everything from breaking news, local sports and entertainment features like the Woodstock Film Festival and Mountain Jam.

My work for the Times Herald-Record and for the Girl Scouts of Greater New York has been featured on The View, and can be seen O Magazine, The New York Daily News, The Wall Street Journal, Time Out New York, Today and Parents Magazine. I've also produced photographs for The Theatre Project, Bastille Flowers and Events NYC, Barnard College and Ulster Magazine.
